Guys i just upgrade my turbo to a s14 t28 and the weather is really cold now. I'm having problems starting my car after leaving it overnight. I would need to crank while pushing the gas pedal down to get it to start the first time for the day. trust me its hard to get it to start for the first time but after it starts it will start like a champ every time. The problem is just the very first start of the day. also after the car is on the vacuum is at 20 on the boost gauge so its not a vac leak.
My TPS voltage is 0.49v, all new battery, dizzy cap & rotor, ngk blue wires, ngk bkr7es plugs.
Could it be the coolant temp sensor? Would a bad o2 sensor cause it to have cold start problems?
i'm currently running emance rom tune with safc for fine tuning.
n60, sr s14 t28, walbro 255, 370cc, stock fpr.
could it also be because i bypassed and i used the coolant runners under the throttle body for the waterlines for the turbo?
Please help!

Man, living in NJ is the first problem.
You would be amazed on the many problems that are associated with cold / snowy conditions.
A lot of the time, cold starts are just how it is. YOu have a car that collects moisture and during the cold weather these moisture condenses and the extreme temperatures wear out the parts and tolerances.
I am in California and my friend and I both have the identical car and engine.
I park my car in the garage which is fully insulated and he parks it outside. For the year, both our cars have started up fine. Recently it has gotten cold, and his car doesn't start up as well.
It is a coincidence that when winter came, his car all a sudden took a shit? No, it's just that even in California we get frost and cold parts take time to move. In addition, Oil seeps down and there is no lubricant. Just my views on cold start.
I told him to park the car in his garage for 1 month and see if there's any difference. And to his suprise, it starts up better and turns on the first time every time now.

There may be ways to help the car. It could be a number of things that doesn't mak the car start up.
Bad Spark would
Cold Fuel lines
Cold engine
Cold intake temperature
Cold moist Air that is in the intake..due to overnight
I've noticed even on my computer, which I put on my window sill, it starts up really slowly in the morning because it's cold. But once it gets going it works great.
You'd think that a computer like a car would be most efficient at very cold temperature, but no.
Machines are like humans, we all need time to warm up. and like machines, some days I don't get up or out of bed....lol. What people neglect to do is let their car warm up for about 5 minutes before they drive. It really helps. Some people just turn on the ignition and Jump/ punch the car off to work.
That's really bad. You know when it is warmed up when the idle drops to about 900 to 1000rmp.
THen as you drive it slowly warms up, the coolant temp rises to the middle, and at the stop light, your idle drops to 750rpm (+/- 50), your oil is circulating, and perfecto.
It is a must do for any turbo car..... but recommended for all cars.
