Just curious if anyone has a basic guideline to doing this. Obviously id assume it isnt something you can just drop in and be done with. Looked around for a while since I purchased the car. Im sure its been covered before. Reasons being, curiosity, i dont care for power windows, and i have to replace my passenger door anyways.
S14 never came with manual windows.. S13 did though :(
maybe you can fabricate manual windows with the S13 stuff?

Hard to do, completely different setups. The S13 uses a cable drive system whereas the S14 has a scissor arm. You'd need to find a car with a similar mechanism to adapt, I know for certain the Xterra, 89-94 Maxima, 93-01 Altima, and Pathfinder all use cable drive too so none of those would work. You're basically just looking to replace the motor with a gear but then you'd need to fab up new panels too, the point where the arm would extend would be just above the armrest, higher up than you'd want it to be.
