Well i guess i will vent to yall by telling you my unfortunate stroke of bad luck...I was comin into my neighborhood yesturday about 3:00 and come up to a stop sign about 5 houses down from mine. i stop and then start goin from there, well the next house after the stop sign has a huge pothole in front of it and i swerved around it, well coming around the outer most part of the hole i was tuning back into the right land and shifted into 2nd and my rear broke loose, it had been raining all morning, and faintly pointed me in the direction of his yard, then i got on the brakes to correct the problem and the ****ty non LSD, non ABS car locked up and slid straight toard the mailbox in this guys yard, my wheels were turned all the way the opposite way, but my car kept sliding straight and i took out the guys mailbox. Then i look and theres no cars out front and all the lights are off, so i say, well ill come back and tell them later(since i live 4 houses down). Then later that night the cops come to my house and ticket my for fleeing from the scene of a accident with property damage and i have a court date next month and its a six point ticked, causeing me to loose my license, well i gotta go back to work so ill finish the story later,
Thanks...

Wow! That sucks! So....someone did actually see you? Or was it because they saw damage on your car?

So what were you waiting for to go back and tell them what happened?

Hey now, it's not the cars fault ;)

Don't feel bad. Last week I did the dumbest thing, ever. I wanted to see what would happen if I gassed it's hard in 2nd gear around a turn. No, I wasn't playing drifter. But it did oversteer like a mother while squealing the tires. The dumb(er) part was that this was in the entrance to my neighboorhood. Although it was fields on both sides, about 3 people from different houses were staring at me. No cops at the doorstep yet though.
Whoops.
I guess when I was in high school I was young, but not stupid. It seems now it's cathcing up with me :(

wow..........there sure have been a dramatic increase in "non-driver fault" accidents involveing 240's and external circumstances causing the rear of the car to slide.

what horrible horrible luck we all have.

Sanmiam, he said it happened at 3:00 then he says later that night the cops knocked on his door, so i am assuming it happened in the afternoon. So i guess you would rather wake up in the morning to find your property, or worse your car, smashed though huh?
