my sr20 recently started having a problem with hesitating under boost... mainly 3rd gear pulls..but it has acted up in every gear
its almost like power is being shut off to the coils for a split second then it will climb a little higher in the rpms and studder again..
my car has low oil pressure as well. because i have a leak at the feed line.. i hate that dumbass banjo setup..
my question is, does the sr20 have a "limp Mode"? im wondering if my ecu is killing power to my coils because its reading a weakoil pressure

If you are getting hesitation, the timing is the first place I would look. Try moving your CAS around a little bit.

nah the timing is fine...
also i have a mixture of weights in the oil because i ran out and had to put 5w30 in it

Check your ECU for codes and then clear them,
I noticed mine had a code for CAS and Knock Sen, once when I had a Slute pop off, misfired in first gerar and sometimes around 10-25% throttle cleared he codes and it went away after 20 mins of driving

actually it make more sense that he has a big boost leak and thats where the first place he should look cuz i've been there before and know exactly what he's talkin bout

I was just trying to help identify a problem. Now that I think about it, a timing issue would act up all the time. So you think he has a major boost leak, sometimes? Mainly in third gear? haha :smash:

think i found out what it was...
the line coming off my PCV valve that goes to the back of the block poped off at the block ... i think thats what was doing it
