I don't have either one but I was going to buy one of these two bikes and turn it into a cafe racer.

a lot of people seem to be jumping on the cafe racer trend if not the messenger boy bike trend. Cafe racers are cool as hell, i'd rock one.

Damn im 5' 11" and 140lbs now thats skinny.
Anyways the Kawasaki's are good bikes, if that one you found for 300 was in good condition it would've been a great deal.
A lot of people are getting in cafe racers, I've wanted one since I was like 15, but now a lot of people seem to be finding out about them because they don't want a scooter but they don't want a Harley or crotch-rocket.

Same.
People are either asking too much or they need a lot of work.
I'll pick one up if it goes for a realistic price.

That Kawi is sweet, man you can make sick rigids outta these things really easy, weld up the swingarm, add two bars, make your own handlebars and seat, chop the fender, instant tough guy!
