It’s not easy being Mandy Sellars. She has hugely outsized legs that make having a normal life nearly impossible.
People stare whenever she leaves the house, she needs a special car to get around and can’t work full time.
What’s more, her condition is getting worse and doctors say she needs an amputation so severe she won’t be able to sit up.

I saw a show on the BBC Channel about her. She seems to be a pretty cool chick with a great attitude and outlook on life. She has a genetic disease called Proteus Syndrome that caused her legs grow - sad to be her, but she makes the best of it. She has the same disease that the "Elephant Man" had, she does not have elaphantitus.

The best way to deal with things I've learned is with a sense of humor. If you can't laugh about something, then you take things too personal. Watching and reading acticles on this lady says she she has a sense of humor which is great.
