Here you go man.... Got it from wikipedia.

Transponders are used in motorsport for lap timing purposes. A cable loop is dug into the race circuit near to the start/finish line. Each car has an active transponder with a unique id code. When the racing car passes the start/finish line the lap time and the racing position is shown on the score board. Passive and active RFID systems are used in off road events such as Enduro (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enduro) and Hare and Hounds (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hare_and_Hound_%28Motorcycle_Race%29) racing, the riders have a transponder on their person, normally on their arm. When they complete a lap they swipe or touch the receiver which is connected to a computer and log their lap time. The Casimo Group Ltd (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Casimo_Group_Ltd&action=edit&redlink=1) make a system which does this.
NASCAR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NASCAR) uses transponders and cable loops placed at numerous points around the track to determine the lineup during a caution period. This system replaced a dangerous race back to the start-finish line (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racing_back_to_the_caution).

It pretty much would show how fast your doing on each lap.

man, i was on htm on the 6th for the first time and its a siiick ass track. i cant wait till this one. went off track on the 2nd hair pin following my buddy spencerand he spun out in front of me, to avoid him, i ate dirt. i dont know how it happend but i snapped 4 bolts off my exhaust manifold... my car sounded like a turbo charged v6 with no power lol. progress to be anounced..

Wow...Great Event guys!!! this was my first time on the track and it was hella fun. For a first timer my runs were shitty and sloppy, but I was improving throughout the day though :-). These sumitomo htrz2 tires I was using sucked balls, I kept sliding, and losing traction.

Awesome pics and I noticed some cool shots of my ride.

ok so tomorrow i'm heading out to michaels. hopefully i can invest in some decent screen printing equiptment. the thing is.. i need people to throw some ideas at me.. slogans, designs.. whatever. hopefully once i get the ball rolling i can get everyone their own PERSONALIZED shirts. there will be a fee though! but it'll be worth it!

working on it. i really need to know if ya'll are serious about it though. i'mma be selling them.. and a portion of the money WILL be going to R.A.D. ofcourse. dude.. we need a way to represent. the stickers are cool but they're only on the drivers' cars. i figured atleast us gfs and spectators can rep the shirts anytime.
