I am not advertising for Taka Motorsports. But, I got serious word from Harp that he is dropping the prices. He said the CS knockoffs are basically gettting his buisness so the lines are going from 160.00 to 110.00 shipped. Roughly, but either way, thes will be beter crafted and reliable (being hand made not mass Taiwan produced). Alot of people use Taka lines so I figured I would let everyone know, not just the SR guys.

Yup... if the same parts are used, it's a great move.
I wonder what kind of fittings and lines CS uses, but I'm assuming they are not Earl's products.

I saw a set and was non impressed with the CS anodizing on the fittings.
When is Taka dropping the prices? I am waiting to order... :o

+1 for taka, got all my turbo lines next-day'd to me when I needed them in a pinch, and so far my brake, clutch, and turbo lines have not had a single problem with them, going on 4 years now.

Yea, and with the price going down, awesome.
He overnighted mine to me as well, had a problem getting em shipped out, called him to check as I needed to put the motor in my car the next day, they hadn't shipped and they got to me by 10 the next day, cross country.
First rate service and products. Cheaper is better too!!! At least for the consumer.

Sorry to bring up this old thread...
I've been trying to get in touch with Taka for several weeks via their email addresses; I've sent several messages but no reply. Anyone know what's going on? I'd like to order some lines but need my questions answered first, and this is the last thing that's holding me up from starting my turbo upgrade...
Any info appreciated.

Incorrect they are pretty much the same.... The turbo line for sure is definitely the same hose. The oil line on my CS kit has earls hose and earls fittings aside from one or two jegs fittings used in the kit. There is nothing wrong going on her just another company making the exact same kit for a fraction of the price. All taka is doing is assembling lines they don't make any of it......

OR, does anyone have a phone number for Taka, since they don't list one on their website? I really want to communicate with them before placing an order, and I'd like to support them, but if I have to wait much longer I'll need to order elsewhere :(

just got my mc to sc clutch line, shit is nice man... I especially like the clear sleeving you put over the steel sleeving to prevent the line from flexing over time and also from rubbing damage in the engine bay. It's really impressive, I cant stop staring at it!!!

Circuit Sport lines are made with Russell fittings. Honestly if Taka lowers their price to that, I would highly consider buying a set to replace my CS lines. CS are fine but not as high quality as Earls fittings that Taka uses.
