Yah, thats right I am pretty stoked. I just picked up this 1991 240sx SE for $300. Its a 5 speed w/o abs and an open diff, clean title with just a little but of rust. The chassis has 180,195 miles on it so a lot less rust then expected for a midwest car. The motor has a gigantic knock so everything is coming apart and a KA I have been building will find its new home inside. So stay tunned as I bring this thing to life and clean it up a lot. I just kept my eyes open, the guy was trying to get $900 for the car because he said it had no rust, so i jacked the car up and showed him some rust and a few other minor things and was able to talk him down to $300!!! He said yeah now I can go buy a T.V. and I told him thanks and towed the car off.

I can take picks of the rust tommorow, it actually got a little worse once I got home and started digging at some cancer but nothing that cant be fixed. They're is a hole about the size of a 50 cent piece in the floor board right above where the down pipe Y's into one piece, and a hole right next to it in the frame rail that is about 3/4 of and inch high and 2.5 inches long. It pissed me off at first because I have never owned a car with any rust at all but I had a friend who is a fabricater for a Porsche shop look at it and he said it shouldn't be to hard to fix at all.

they sell blown automatic super rusted "shells" or "full cars" for 900 at the minimum here in Wisconsin.

Anywho, I didnt get home from work until late tonight so I got a little bit of stuff done but not as much as I planned on. Got the motor and tranny out tonight and that was about it because I was lazy and just quit after cleaning everything up. Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics.

Still to come with in the next few days is removal and clean up of crossmember, clean up of engine bay, and for all of you godspeed haters some godspeed sway bars, rucas, toe rods, and rear traction bars. I am a high school kid on a budget so that's what is going in.

Wow, 240's are expensive in other states. All the 240's my friends and I have cost between $50.00 and $350.00.
