my mani cracked so i pulled the whole setup out and replaced it... im running stock t25 and hardlines..

anyays my oil souce coming off the block is leaking perfusely.. is there a certain way the bolt has to line up with the line??

i may just get a fitting with a nipple end and cut the hard line and use a peice of vacuum hose to bridge the line to the fitting while i wait for some SS lines to come in

SILVER SOLDER will fix it...
a welding shop can help, old guys seem to be nicer... good luck.

You have to get the bolt in just right or you'll strip the threads (I'm guilty of stripping it). You also need a copper washer. You can just go to a local auto parts store and look for copper washers for oil drain plugs.

If you did strip it, I have a Time-Sert rethreading kit for sale. (http://zilvia.net/f/sale-items/226500-time-sert-kit-stripped-turbo-lines.html) You can use this to rethread it. It is better than using helicoil because, supposedly, helicoils can back out.

It's a super fine thread - horrible choice for a banjo bolt that's easy to misalign. Once you cross thread it and strip the threads, it's pretty much done for. Helicoil is your best bet if you want to use the stock stuff.

I tapped mine to a 1/4" NPT thread and put a 1/4" NPT to -4 AN fitting. Works great now, no leaks.

you need a new copper gasket....or just replace those hard lines with some steel braided lines and AN fittings
