you really cant add more front protection. Either find a way to fit the fm by cutting or trimming it or dont even try to modify it. Those things are made of hss(high strenth steel) they are meant to be hit once then replace after becuase it loses it strength. IF u weld something stronger in the middle then your gonna do more damage by not letting it do its job and absorb the impact. Your front rails would be bend and tear apart if u get into a serious accident.

just make another bumper support. Take some steel tubing, bend it, and weld it. Works for me.

put the inter-cooler on and then take the car to a local metal fab shop. They can make you a basic bumper support and bring your bumper so the can make it fit right.

I nominate this for stupidest fucking thread of the month.
Who cares? Why do a bunch of random fuckers need to know what other random fuckers have behind their bumper? Would you also like to know what bathroom cleaning products we have under our sink? How about what laundry detergent we all use?

how is making a bumper support going to save your kouki front?
you might save your intercooler in the event of a head on crash but all of your panels are still fucked.
unless you get a bull bar of course.
heres what i had, but i just sold it because it didnt fit under my new aero

Get a bumper support and tuck the intercooler behind it.

We made this. Thick walled aluminum so it's light but still strong. I can stand on my BN bumper with this thing on there.

you guys dont understand... u cant just add or make a new bumper support out of steel tubing. Its gonna screw up your front rails more when you get into a head on collision... the steel tubing isnt gonna absorb the impact as well your oem impact bar. They were made to be hit once and replaced after wards. Trimming would be the best best or like someone else said buy a jdm version if that works. I personally dont know.

on a s13 use the jdm bumper support. if you run the stock bumpers. It fits perfect. Aero will need a little trimming.
