Make/Model/Trim:Datsun 510 Station Wagon
Year:1980
VIN:WHLA10117139
Mileage:177,9XX and counting (driven daily) as of 11/25/2008
Engine Type:Z20, single-plug
Transmission Type:Four-Speed Manual
Options:Radio delete car (orginal block-off plate and clock are intact and working), roof rack
Modifications:none
Any Included Parts, if applicable:Original Datsun factory service manual
Flaws (mechanical and otherwise stated in order of importance):Shocks/Struts are very soft, rust in rockers and lower fenders, "Datsun" emblem missing from grille, leaks approximately 1 quart of oil per 4,900 miles from valve cover gasket, cracked windshield (not really in driver's line of sight, or significant)

My Datsun has rusty lower fenders and rockers, but the floor, framerails, etc. are perfect. It has a 2.0L Z20 engine (single-plug, not dual-plug). Four-speed manual transmission. I bought it in Philadelphia about a month ago from a non-enthusiast and have put 4900 miles on it as of 11/25/2008. I would trust this car to go anywhere. It has no mechanical problems whatsoever, besides a VERY small leak from the valve cover gasket, and worn-out struts/shocks. It's only used one quart in 4800 miles. The windshield is cracked, but I wouldn't worry about replacing it unless you get a ticket. The interior is intact, except the previous owner painted it royal blue. :( Dash is cracked, vinyl on front seats is cracked (but has seat covers installed), back seat is mint. This is a radio delete car with factory block-off plate and clock still intact. Comes with factory service manual in amazing shape.

I'll trade for anything that's either more fun to drive, or easier to sell.

email me at [email protected] with what you have.

Here's the only two exterior pics I have so far. Unfortunately, it's been hard because of Cleveland's apocalyptic rain and snow lately.

Final bump. I found a killer deal on an RX7, so now would be the time to make me an offer I wouldn't normally accept.
