So I went to drop my friend off at the car rental place that happens to be part of a dealership, and one of the salesmen tells me that there's a 350z over in the nissan wing of thier dealership. So after my friend takes off, I went over to check it out. I must say, that car is one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen! The interior... OMG, sooooo sweet. Honestly, I felt like I was sitting in the seat of a 200,000 dollar sports car.

Yeah those things are sweet. Ive never sat in one, but ive seen a few parked here and there. I would love to test drive one but dont think a dealer would let just anyone test drive one.

Most definately a drivers car, and you have no idea how sweet it is until you're actually in one. My next goal is to have one of the guys at the dealership take me for a spin in one because I highly doubt they'd let me drive :D

they aren't that expensive, if you have a decent looking s14 or borrow your parents nice new car, just drive that over there and say you are looking for a college graduation gift or something dumb, it's not like they haven't heard all the reasons before. Also, try to pick somebody who looks busy, that way they'll just send you out on a drive because they have better things to do.

My parents use to have a 350z :( and i got a chance to drive it home. id have to say its the fastest car ive ever driven in my life. The 350z has alot of low end power and the high end. I drove this car up a steep hill in fourth gear and it pulls like its in second. The sound is just amazing and the shifter is really smooth and stiff. The handling is neutral, barely any body roll and feels real tight the harder you turn. It always pulls and never really stops pulling, the faster your going the more it pulls. In the future my parents are going to buy one and this time ill redline it :).

Why don't your parents have it anymore? Did they only have it on the test drive & then take it back? (I was wondering if you were doing a little play on words with the "they used to have one."......but then they took it back after the test drive.........

We had it for a couple of days, nissan wanted it back anyways so they can sell it for more since we were the first to get the 350z in Washington. My Parents brought it back because they figured that they would spend that money in investing for the future rather than a sports car. So when my parents selling our shop then it will be alot easier to pay for since we dont owe payments on anything else.

I test drove one about a month ago, I am very suprised that the dealers near you won't let you try one out. I just walked in and told them I was interested and wanted to try and the keys came out. At the end of the drive I took the dealers buisiness card and told him I would have to think about it for a while. They just want to sell cars, make em think mommy is buying and they will let you test it with your learners permit.

The thing is nice, I drove the "track" series, and it was dope. I want satelite navigation in my 240. I wish I could afford it.

That test drive still wont beat the Audi TT, the dealer handed me the keys and said "just keep it under a hundred allright.." Nice.......

I've test driven both the Audi TT, and the 350z.. The Audi was smoother, but a little TOO gimiky if you ask me.. The 350z was faster, and more brutish. Shifter vibrates like a mofo.. But damn that is one SUPER FUN car.. I would Love to have one..

dude your in minnesota. No one out there is really gonna buy the 350 like out here in California. Out here they sell so fast, and the people want them with 0 miles on them, they want to know you have the cash before they let you drive it.

Huh, Ive seen plenty out on the streets here, even with snow on the ground. Stupid drivers with their stupid 350z cars.

I would agree, the TT is more gimmicky. I defenitly like the 350z better but that is possibly just because I like Nissans in general. Shoot me.
