Just wondering if anybody has any word of caution about these guys, I'm ordering some stuff from them, not getting work done, so I just want to know if they're safe from others' experiences. Thanks in advance.

I havent talked to Edwin and crew in a while, but they're good guys-- good to business with. I don't really hear about them too much on this board, but they've got a respectable name with the mr2 community

They're good people.

They're good.
For the sake of some diversity, they couldn't put an S14 SR into my friend's S14... they had it for something like 2 months (?) and eventually had to just put an S13 SR in. That was a bummer.

They are god aweful. The sent me a box of missing electrical parts after my clip showed up as a crate of damaged parts sans ecu, ignitor, harness, etc. Everything in the box was damaged or malfunctioning. It looks like they sent me ****e just to get me to stop calling them. Cost me an extra $600+ in parts + shipping to get my car running.
Next time I'm in Cali (I have family out there) I'm bringing my box of parts and hopefully a lawer.... don't buy anything from them, there are too many reputable tuners out there.
HEAR YOUR ENGINE RUN ON THE CLIP BEFORE YOU BUY IT!!!!

Well, they are pretty reputable, but, Edwin is not there anymore so maybe that is why you two have had such bad dealings with them...
Anyhow, good luck with your parts, just remember, there are other shops out there if you don't feel comfortable buying from them.

I've heard lots of bad stuff about them, so I wouldn't go through them unless it's a must

I have only heard negative things about them myself and since there are tons of other places to get parts from I choose to stay away.

people did you realize rednerd resurrected a six month old thread? rednerd , if you got a problem with them call them up and yell at them on the phone . You have already bitched and complained here to the point that everyone knows you got a sucky deal. don't go resurrection 6 month old threads just to beat your already dead horse.

thread locked.
also: why would you revive a dead thread to talk about a topic that's being covered in a currently open thread?!
