the best seats are the ones that fit you. i like recaro SPG's because they cradle my booty, but if you're a bigger dude, they might not be so kind. likewise with bride, sparco, etc etc. try them out.... honestly,
if it don't fit, you musn't by it.

This is such a subjective question. The best seat is what suits you. I have R33 GTR seats and love them. I would love to have R34 GTR seats. Do I want to pony up the crazy money it would cost to get them stateside? Hell no. lol For that reason I am running R33 GTR seats.
It also depends on how much time you spend at the track. If you go to the track all the time then a proper racing bucket or specifically track oriented seat is ideal. If your looking for a double duty seat well then a GTR seat does pretty well.
Though some people will still just go Bride,Recaro, Sparco,Corbeu, instead and sacrifice some of the usability they would have with a seat like a GTR seat in favor of a little more of track oriented seat.
Though I feel for the compromise of street and track a GTR seat usually rules.

true dat homie. I got S15's.... direct bolt on. However if your a tall guy like me (6' 2") I don't recommend them cause your head barely touches the roof. They sit higher then the stock S13 buckets.

I love the recaro SPG. it just.. fits.
but as mentioned above, its all personal preference.
skyline seats do sound like something you are looking for though.
or maybe some reclining bucket seats.

Which seats are the best in comfort, racing use, and everyday street use for the S13/S14?
obviously, their is no one seat that is the best and fits all
are you looking for a bucket seat or reclineable?
a seat that may be the 'best' for racing, may not be the best for street use or comfort.
you need to think, whats the seat going to be used for most? whats the most important? price? and so on...

I'm using a Sparco Prodrive WRC for driver currently. Its kinda tight and hurts your lower back on long journeys but for track work its awesome.
Gotta find a decent recliner for the passenger. Using Sparco Rev currently and two fixed seats in a coupe doesn't work.

If you're not a fat snowbeast, the R32/R33 GTR seats are the pinnacle of seats, if you ask me. I've sat in numerous seats throughout my time, and these are the absolute best.. even better than mainstream recaro seats. The reason for this is because they're made for Japanese market, so the seats are perfect for smaller individuals. The foam is absolute bliss, its amazing how damn comfortable those seats are.
I've looked into attaining the R34 seats, next to near impossible unless your name is Scrooge McDuck and you've got a pair of thousand dollar gold moneybags blowing out of your ass. I cannot say if they are better or worse in comparison to the older GTR seats, but from the quick sit down they felt pretty good. Looks-wise, they're extremely pretty.
The R34 seat is quite possibly the only seat I would pickup to replace my R32 seats. In specific, GTR seats (not GTST).

Yea I know its my preference but I didn't get to sit in too many seats so I donno which ones are the best for me. Anyone around Jersey willing to meet up and chill check each others 240s out and help me out with seat choice if you have? Well from the looks of it, I am kind of towards the GTR R34 seats but they are definitely expensive. Anyone know costs?

I just bought that exact seat and I must say it's damn sweet!! No Hobos or monsters here! I'm 5'10" 200lbs with a 33 inch waist and I fit perfectly despite the fact that I have really broad shoulders. The actual quality of the unit is fantastic. The padding is adequate, the stitching is great and the mechanism for reclining the unit works very well. For a person who is on a budget I find this seat to be fantastic.
To the OP: It's really comes down to your budget and what you're going to use it for. DD? Track? Both? Sit in your friends’ seats to see how they feel. Go to some shops and test them out.
The Chad

Looks like the OP is sold on GT-R seats. R34 are too $$$$ though buddy!! Save a few buckaroos and get the R33. I see them on Ebay all the time for a decent price. Also check some European Skyline Forums. Good Luck!

R32,R33,R34 GTR seats sit pretty low in fact a lot lower than many of the aftermarket seats. Unless you spend extra for ultra low rails.

r32gtr seats are nice as well. a few local guys here run them.
i loved my Bride Vios III when i had it. fit awesome and sat extremely low on s13. way lower than stock seats or gtr seats. its great for tall people.
Recaro SPG, Bride Zetta II and III are awesome seats as well.
just sit in as many seats as possible and then decide which holds you better.

I am not saying that it's the best, but I use Kirkey. The aluminium seat can be customized to the shape of your body. I have not seen any other seat under $2,000 that can offer this feature.
I have used mine for over 3 years, including a mix of every type of driving.
Good luck.

+1 for r32 gtr. i found one used for 100$, the gtr rails bolt ip except for one of the mounts which requires only a small bit of modification to fit in an s13. my only gripe about it is that using the r32 seatbelt anchoring position with the s13 belt, it sits very high if you're skinny, making it not even tough your hips, so i mounted the buckle to the seat mount on the tranny tunnel.

out of all the seat we have sold and install here are the ranking.
1. R34 GTR seat(wider then R32,R33) and better shoulder support,
I'm 145LBS and 5ft 8in tall this seat is a bit big for me(I have this seat curretly in my GTR)
2. R32,R33 GTR seat fits me perfectly, not recommend for fat guys.
3. Bride Brix(Koffice) seat, held you like a monster yet it's wide on top for the bigger guys.
4. factory Nissan/Honda Recaros, wide and easy to get in and out of.
the above ranking is for a street car, track car not recommended.
cheers,

when i borrowed my friends evo for a long while i fell in love with his seats they are great for track use and comfy for the 150 miles i do daily. so i stuck them in my car. they sit a bit high but i am only 5'9" and have it positioned perfectly for me. they dont have a fast recline mechanism so the back seats are useless. its really hard to hardjust them when the door is closed but no body else drives my car neway or sit in the back seats. more people just means extra weight neway right?
