Motor is a ka24de.

3rd injector was not squirting so changed it out and car wont even crank over anymore.

I have been having problems with the starter grinding and clanking like it was not shooting out far enough to catch the teeth on the flywheel fully.

Before changing the injector I just wanted to try and start the car so turned it over but it was still making some nasty noises so stopped but it would crank a little and almost start.

Changed the injector out and unbolted the starter and had a friend turn the key so I could see if the starter was spinning and shooting out far enough and nothing happened? No clicking or anything.

Had my buddy bring over another starter from a ka24E and put it in and hooked everything back up and still nothing?

Car would still crank before I changed out the injector so I don't know what the problem could be.

Battery is a little low so tried jumping it but still nothing, then took the battery from my brothers car and nothing so it's not the battery.

maybe your injector stayed on and your cylinder is filled with gas and since liquids cant compress its keeping your motor from cranking try checking that first by pulling out your spark plugs

I'll check that out...

I wasnt able to burn out all of the fuel like you are supposed to so some fuel did pour in when I pulled the injector. Car wouldn't crank over so couldn't burn up the gas.

So what other ideas might you guys have becuase it was still cranking before I pulled the injector and switched the starter.

Oh and will a ka24e starter work on a ka24de motor because my buddy I got it from says it won't be a problem?

could be something with the ignition that is also causing the problem.

The starting of an engine consist of fuel and spark. If the fuel pump is pumping (ex. check fuse for fuel pump, the pump itself). Also may way to check the connections for the start, start solenoid, ignition coil could be gone as well.

Just some ideas.

You've got a ton of confusing info here, is it cranking or not?

It's not cranking at all.

Ok before I even worked on the car at all I just checked to see if the car was cranking over and it was but the starter was sounding shitty because the solenoid is bad.

Changed the #3 injector and starter. After I changed them out it wont crank over anymore.

Fuel pump is still priming and everything in the car is getting power.

Checked the grounds and everything seems to be fine.

Bypass the starter relay, then try again.
