So last night I broke my key for the muteki bolts, so I pick on up from aspec this morning am an hour late for work. I get the bolts untightened at the shop and they look at me like an idiot. I get everthing off, use a breaker bar to get the 2 14mm bolts off. forgot to get a clamp ( changing front brake pads) Walk to Target, come back, fuckwad clamps dont work. Try to put on my old brakes, top of brake assembly wont go on.
Cause the bolts broke in half when I used the breaker bar to get these bastards out!!!!
So put my wheel back with half of bolts still in other caliper part.
Im leaving to San Jose tomorrow and now have to rent a car for the weekend.

yeah, they were not grabbing at first. I had the brakes changed and bled at a good year shop like a year ago, just needed to change the pads. So I used my floor jack bar as a breaker bar after I sprayed wd40 on to loosen the bolts. So crap, I gotta drill out the other half of the bolts. But not till I get back from San J.

Yeah, it's been over a year and I won't lie, I have questioned dumping money into this car....but the feeling I get cruising around or @ a track day justifies it....at least a little bit :boink:

instead of wd-40 you should use pb blaster or twister made by zep, both of these are really good and way better than wd-40 we use it in our shop all the time works great on really rusty bolts and nuts or frozen bolts or nuts.
