Long short, they damaged my car and refuse to pay for they're obvious damages. Steve (the guy to talk to refused to give me last name) I will be seeing them in court.

Details. They towed my car by the bumper of my S2000. Not the metel, the plastic bumper. they ripped all the bottom plastics, guards, and broke the secondary supercharger water pump. I had to have my car towed home by a different tow company from their yard.

Just giving you guys a heads up. Please spread the word.

They damaged your car as in...?

Your post lacks important information.

If your car was lowered and it scraped/broke your bumper, it's not their fault.

The dude that towed my car was mad because it was insanely low and warned me my bumper would scrape and possibly get damaged.

It's incredibly hard to tow a lowered S2000, because the nose is so long. I'm guessing he pulled by the lower control arm or sway bar, and that ripped your bumper, and since it was so low, ripped up your lower water pump.

they towed my track car just fine. Did you request to tow by flat bed ?? cuz thats common sense. Ask for 2X4 and stick them under the ramp as they pull it up, by the tow hook... cuz duh thats the only way to do it

I would have loved too, but it's hard when you're handcuffed in the back of a squad car.

Why are you guys all assuming I did something wrong? Why are you guys taking the tow companies side? I'm just giving you guys a heads up. Do what you want with the info.

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh iuno:tardrim:

so what did u do?

but honestly, i assume your car got impounded, when dealing with that sort of situation, im not surprised they dont wanna pay for it, seeing as how you obviously broke the law to get your car impounded...they could give a shit if they tow your car correctly or not

Pretty much all of the bottom air deflectors and water pump. I understand accidents happen, but it pisses me off when they don't step up to their obligations and expect me to fix it and let it go.

It's going to cost me more to take them to court than the repairs. But it's all about principal, if you break something, pay to fix it.

Here's the messed up thing. I haven't been convicted of breaking the law. I had my car impounded for 30 days just for being accused of breaking the law. No actual judgment yet. I (like many) have been punished (car inpounded, jail) before even seeing a judge. Does that sound fair? At this point the Cops are judge, jury, and executioner.

Scenario: You're driving home and someone says they spotted a red hatchback (maybe a 240? witness not sure) racing, speeding, picking up hookers etc. They see you leaving and next thing you know, your car is being towed for 30 days. You see the judge, they find you innocent but you're still stuck with a 30 impound fee and a release fee.

Doesn't sound "Innocent until proven guilty" does it. Just something you guys should think about.

ok let me rephrase that Mikey McPreacher....what were you ACCUSED of doing, that caused for your car to be impounded

That is irrelevant to my car being damaged by the tow company, Don't ya think?

You will when someone says "oh he's the one I seen sliding in that parking lot" (I wasn't doing that) and next thing you know it's $$$.
