View Full Version : shoe box full of basketball cards...what to do with them?

I'm moving to another place and I want to toss some old stuff out.

I've come across a shoe box full of basketball cards dating back to the early 90's.

Should I just toss them out? or even remotely try to sell them?

Most of these players probably retired or switched teams.

I also have a gold pokemon card that I'm thinking of just tossing lol

go buy the most recent BECKETT....and see if you can find anything of worth and throw it on ebay

my dad used to help a guy out selling a lot of baseball cards and the guy made bank off of them. just put them up on ebay and see what happens

I have a ceiling full of insanely rare comics. I have like Fantastic 4 #4, and #5. first Sub-Mariner. an original Tom and Jerry from the 40's. Stuff like that. I probably should be looking to sell that stuff.

i might have to go get a beckett guide, i've got several five gallon bins of misc sports cards in the basement. i guarantee they're all junk though (except the desert storm cards, but that's just because they're so rad)

But about the cards, if there is a yearly sports memorabilia convention anywhere near you those guys will look at your cards for free and tell you if theres anything valuable in there.
