a number of us are into music in many different ways. I used to perform Drum &Bass live at parties, throw parties etc... Now I write music, film,TV, whatever is needed.

I used to do weddings and stuff like that but know i just stick to doing my own parties and sometimes friends parties. What kind of stuff do you guys use.

Trance, House, and whatever else I happen to like at the moment. But mostly Trance, 1997-2002 stuff.

Truth be told, though, my tables and rekkids have been locked up in storage for well over a year now.

Always wanted 1200 but could never afford them. Now its an American DJ dcd pro300 cd player, a berringher 7 channel mixer and 2 self powerd twelves. I also run two Ipods.

Ive been spinning records for about 8 years.

I have 2 stanton STR8-60's (direct drive), Stanton 680.V3 cartirdges, and Orifon Concorde cartridges, a Pioneer CDJ-200 a Pioneer DJM-500, and the traditional sony headphones..... I at one time owned technic 1200 MK2's but I went back to the straight arm stantons..... i really like them for some reason :)

I spin mostly Hard progressive trance and house...... I started out playing UK hard house but those days dies quickly.... still have all the wax tho.

i used to only dj back when i bought my 240, of course i didnt have a license to drive it then i sold my set up and bought a bunch of crap for the car. but on occasion i do come back and do parties, elektro and dance is my specialty i also make musik on the side.

My buddy and i recently started DJ'ing house parties. We use the simplest program in the world, Virtual DJ, and we have a dac-3 controller, sony mdrv700 headphones, crown 602 amp, and and a pair of jbl jrx125's.

Hopefully as soon as we get some turn tables or cdj's and and actual mixer we'll move onto using serato. Heard that's the program to use for laptop dj'ing. lol

and oh yeah, we spin hip-hop, electro, house, trance and progressive.

i currently have 2 setups, 2x technics 1200s with a pioneer DJM 707, my second setup is 2x numark tt500s and a stanton sk1 mixer. I rarely do house parties now and i pretty much shifted all my focus into battling. But when i do house parties i use another Digital Vinyl program known as mixvibes, it does the same and performs exactly the same as serato, at almost half the price
