I love this car and would like to keep it, but I have a baby on the way and would like to have a car with a backseat in case our other vehicle is down and I need to take my wife and child somewhere at the same time.

First off, here are the pictures:

Leather wrapped honda wheel... off jdm integra xsi. Sony CD player

http://boyracer.endoftheroad.ca/crx/2.jpg
'98 integra ls or se seats... both match perfectly, but both are driver side seats with lumbar support.

http://boyracer.endoftheroad.ca/crx/3.jpg
Another shot of seats, full rear interior out of DX model.

http://boyracer.endoftheroad.ca/crx/4.jpg
del sol wheels and hub caps, all tires in good shape, 2 different brands, JDM ZC hood.

http://boyracer.endoftheroad.ca/crx/5.jpg
other side... clean car, no rust

http://boyracer.endoftheroad.ca/crx/6.jpg
better view of hood and bumper, bumper is painted now (but not well) and blue "H" is long gone.

http://boyracer.endoftheroad.ca/crx/7.jpg
rear view, big tip, exhaust has no catalytic converter, only a cherry bomb muffler, the car sounds like a weed wacker!

sticker on underside of hood

other stick on underside of hood

engine with extra bits and pieces, the manifold is stock zc dohc pipe.

I added the Carfax report when I realized that I needed to include the VIN, you can do your own Carfax, but I have it if you want it from me. As for the failed emission test, that was before I owned the car, but without a catalytic converter I can see how it happened. I live in a place where we don't have to do emission tests, so its not really a worry for me.

you might want to post some other tidbits to help sell, like, where do you live? :) I don't hold much hope for ya, getting someone to trade, but I may be interested (I have 2 240s, and I'll be selling one of them shortly).

HOWEVER, on the backseat thing... I'd really advise against getting a 240 with the idea that you'll have room for a new addition to your family. The 240 backseat is barely there. Even the skinniest of my friends has to sit diagonally so their kneecaps don't break off, or break their head on the roof. Space might be adequate for a toddler, but as your lil tyke grows, say goodbye to yet another car :/

I thought that the given location to left on everyone's profile was enough. If you can't see that over there, it says "Eastern NC" That's Eastern North Carolina.

I'm familiar with the small size of the 240 back seat, but a small back seat is better than none at all. This in no way is going to be the primary family vehicle. This is my daily driver. My wife's 4 door does all the family duties, but like I said, it would be nice, if need be, to carry my wife and child in a car, and still have a fun car.

Maybe on this messageboard I'd have to be real lucky, but in real life it should be easy.

There are a lot of people who would like to have a CRX instead of a 240, and there are a lot of people who would like to have a 240 instead of a CRX.

Just putting out feelers everywhere.

Yeah, I wish. Sorry, sale/trade is because baby is on the way, therefore I can't be spending any money. Maybe you are into something that I'm into and we could work out an additional trade... any hobbies or something.

As stated, this is not going to be the family vehicle. My wife drives a 4 door with plenty of space that serves as our family vehicle. The car I drive is only for daily driving, but maybe the 4 door is in the shop, then it would be nice to have a little back seat for the kid.

I have a feeling I'll have to explain this again.

well, I wouldnt say they rule, but the fastest car I've ever seen was unfortunately a CRX. They call it "The X" and this shi% blows by so f*cking fast it's basically undescribable. I saw it at the local illegals and couldnt be touched by anyone, owner says it does quarter mile in a lil less than 10 secs, thats a pretty damn fast street car.

I have an '89 fastback, I might be willing trade, I'm bored with it and there have been some honda swaps I've been wanting to try. Some guy in an accord hit me and insurance is still deciding if it will pay or not. Right now the car needs nothing but a new driver's quarter panel and a rear bumper. You might even be able to reuse the bumper cover that is on there. It has good tires, decent interior (for a 14 year old car), 160,000 miles but I've taken care of it and it runs well. It has intake, exhaust, strut tower bars, indiglo gauges, carbon fiber gauge overlay, and a nice stereo that I would prolly keep. Its got a sunroof, 5 spd with brand new clutch. It needs a paint job and a quarterpanel to be really nice.
If you would like to meet and drive each other's cars, I live in WV...

same car, only sohc with pignose front end. Could easily be updated to 91 spec with the simple addition of the newer front end, which you can get from a junkyard for 60 bucks. If you are going to swap, the engine choice doesn't matter, and the PS lines are available from most junkyards too. Heck, there is even a speed shop selling brand new PS lines from braided for a couple hundred.
Think about it.

I'm not planning a swap, I want the stock DOHC engine, looks aren't important, just want the better engine the the '91 and newer have to offer. If I wanted to do a swap I would buy one of the many '89-'90s around here for around $1000 and then do a swap.

Oh ok, sorry.. I thought you were planning a swap. Anyway I wanted a decent CR-X since I was 15 and my dad wouldn't let me get a yellow one that I had my heart set on. I love my 240, and I'm sure you will too once you get one. Good luck.

I have a 91 240SX with super Hicas five speed that I am wanting to get rid of and go to a Honda. I am in Kansas though so I doubt you will do it. Worth a try though. But I am interested. Doubt you are though.
