I have a 240sx with an 1jzgte Engine In it

Mods are : Stock Twins , 3 inch Fmic, 2.5 inch intecooler Piping, 3 Inch Exhaust , 3 inch YPipe , 2 Way Lsd Differential, 4.10 Final drive gear Ratio and I'm Running Stock Boost ( 9 psi )

Some Of My Friends With 1jz Supra got some Big Traction Problem On Big Tires ... In My Case , I'm running on The Stock Tires (205/55/15) , I don't have any Traction Problem , The Car Make Some Awesome And Fast Start Without Spinning too Much ...

Like i said, the Car Is Freaking Fast For Race Between Lights , But On The Highway, that don't impress Me , One Of My Friend Had a 4g63T Dodge Colt Boosted at 16 Psi... Between 120 Km/h And 180 Km/h , He Get About 1 or 2 Car On Me ... i'm Pretty Sure That My Previous Setup ( Sr20det t25 14psi) Would be Close To My 1jz On the Highway ...

Now I would Like Too Know If someone here have a 1Jz S13 With Almost The Same Setup As Mine ?? How Is The Traction ?? How Is it On the Highway ??? is that make A Good difference To Raise the Boost ... Thanks You And Sorry again For The First Post :-/

Regardless, what exactly is it that you're looking for? Are you looking to ask technical questions? If so, there's a Tech section on this forum. If you're asking for opinions on the kind of swap, I personally do not fancy it. If you're looking for advice on how to increase traction, ask one of the gurus. After roaming around Zilvia, you'll find them.

I have a 1JZ S13. I don't really understand what information you're asking for. My car at 10 psi got pretty good traction on some brand new 205 55 16s. I brought the boost up to about 14 psi, which was 300hp on a dyno dynamics, and now it spins all through first and second.

a friend with a 1j mk3 supra would get traction on his 225/16 tires at 12 psi. i think most of it is driving style....

IIRC, I had the car running at 12psi. Running 255/40/17, car had no traction up until 3rd gear. Just had typical BPUs. Exhaust, intercooler, intake.

Looks like you are running low on power, even on stock boost you should still be ripping thru 1st and 2nd gear on such small tires.

Looks like you are running low on power, even on stock boost you should still be ripping thru 1st and 2nd gear on such small tires.

I'm on 275's, stock twins, 20psi. I spin 1,2, half of 3rd. I can get up to 140 in what seems like an instant. Who runs stock boost on a set of twins that are going to blow anyway? Check your compression, 165 or lower on the 1j and your engine is getting tired.

no it doesnt. aluminum or cast iron. doesnt affect HP on a basic level. now if you shooting for the stars its more understandable. but its still relies on displacement to affect power.
