So after I moved my car today and turned it off I noticed that the tach was slow to return to 0 and it ended up just being stuck at 1k. Does this have to do with wiring or is it something mechanical inside the cluster? Also when I drove it to work the RPM's just kind of stayed in between 1 and 2.5.It's like it is responsind but really slowly. Any ideas?

Just had that problem in my Zenki. Your gonna need a new cluster. I had a Se and a non SE (black faced guages). My SE took a shit and speed and tach stopped reading. Tach just bounced between 1 and three then stayed at 1 for the past weeks. I took the too clusters apart and replaced the circuit boards and motors in the SE guage cluster with the circuit boards and motors from the non SE cluster. I did that so I could keep the White Faced Guages. Everything works fine for me now. Revs right up to 6500 no problem. I'll take a look at the circuit board to see if I can fix it tomorrow if it's fixable i'll be sure to let you know.
