engine swap shops?

hey guys, i am planning on getting a crate motor from AMS. and I will be doing a build and will need a shop to help with tunes and the swap.

Wanted to get some opinions on which shops are the best for motor installs and tunes...

Never been to any shops in the Socal Area... I am in San Diego, so something local would be awesome!

I want to stay going by which ever shop is the best and build some rapport/relationahip, cause i will be spending money and time with them

we are in socal, we can do it for you. we've built lots of cool cars, and we have a dynodynamic dyno inhouse that we use for tuning.

let me know what kind of motor it is and what it's going into and i can give you a rough quote, so that you can price around a bit.

It will be a crate motor from AMS Performance. (KA24DE with turbo setup) Will be going into a 93 240sx. Will be a straight drop in... I just need a tune after swap.

rough quote, 1500 for the install, and to get the car running right.

300-500 for the tuning depending on which management you are running.
