I was just wondering, if the springs hardly dropped the car, why did you have to buy an alignment correction kit? I thought that it was only needed for a drop of 2 inches and more.

its recommended that whenever you drop your car any amount of inches, you get the correction kit. if you drop more than 1.8 its a must.

oh ok, thanks
BTW: how much did it drop your car?
Also, if you got the work done by a shop, how much did it cost to install all your things? Does a shop not have the ability to align a car perfectly without the correction kit? Or is it that it wouldn't last if you hit a bump?

i did it kinda myself but @ da shop. i paid 75 ( to use their lifts, spring compressor, tools, and their help) if they did all the work, it would be $150.00..

not all shops would align a car that is lowered...

My thing with shops is, if they don't build and/or service racecars they don't get my business.

Anyway, how are those springs? What are the specs?

depends on what you want. if u dont wanna drop it too low, yet have a stiff ride, then they'r cool. i love em. no complaints. i have been told that they do settle in a few days or so, but i cant see them sagging. usually when springs sag (from previous experience) they make noises too. these springs are not noisy at all.

These are specs from the spring rate archive:
Suspension Techniques: 1.3" drop
_ _ _Front: _206 lb/in | 1.3"
_ _ _Rear: _ 155 lb/in | 1.3"

i'd say its only 1 inch drop, but maybe it'll settle to 1.3.
