I found this car last night. Seems like it would be a decent beginner car for me (New to Nissans). The one thing that kind of worries me is that the front left pannel seems to 'flare' out, right when it meets the front bumper. Is this normal or easily fixed?

Here is what the ad says.
"I have a 1991 Nissan 240sx. It has 204,000km's and is a 5 speed rear wheel drive.

There is some rust on the hatchback door, but not anywhere else. Two brand new tires on the back. Currently driving it daily but it is going to need wheel bearings in the near future. May consider trade for quad or small pick-up truck.$2150.00 O.B.O."

And whats that about needing a new wheel bearing? Easy fix?

i'm not sure how easy/hard S13's are too find in Canada but $2100 seems pretty steep.

Yeah, then you havn't been to Canada to see the prices. This is pretty damn cheap for a 240. There is a local trying to sell stock 92 240 for $8,000. The prices are rediculous.

all that stuff is easy to fix, since the wheel bearing need to be replaced its a good chance to upgrade to 5 lug hubs

All hatches with the spoilers have rust on them no biggie, pull off the spoiler, grind the rust down ans slap on some Bondo G2G

check under the chassis and under the hood in the corners for more rust spots (if any)

Which bearings need replacing? Fronts are by far easier.

Seems like a decent price for a clean running car.

Spots to look for rust on s13's are, front strut towers, wheel well to frame under brake booster, seam in the rocker just under the door/quarter panel, rear feet area on floor, frame rail by firewall, and of course hatch.

I'm not sure which bearings, I'm guessing all four corners need to be replaced. Would it just be easier/better to go 5 lug?

The rocker just under the door looks like it has a sideskirt on it, so I can't see if there's any rust there or not.

And as for the front fender/bumper. Does anyone know what's wrong with it? Or is it just me that can see it?

better to just go straight to 5 lug.

and the front fender is screwed up.. i see it also.
