Sorry, my search link didn't work.

I would suggest you check old topics. There are some really good ones. I'll try and link them all to you later, or if you want, you can do it yourself:

click: Search (http://www.zilvia.net/forum/search.cgi)
Under "Click words to search by", type in "JWT ECU".
Then choose to search by keywords and in the drop down menu, choose "Search Keywords in Both".

That should definitely help you!

Happy searching!!!!

Try the search and you will find a dyno of what the JWT ECU can do. And many praises to its benifits. Its a very worthwhile mod. One of the best  IMHO. I added it after doing most all my bolt on to my s13 and it was the best mod I did. It brought all the mods I had put on performe to their max abailities.

what mods should u do first before getting a jwt ecu? (exhaust, intake, headers, .....)

did your gas mileage suffer much?

i read most of the jwt ecu threads to look for a dyno on one, but u can only read so much till' u gotta move on <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> i found that nobody really said how much their gas milage suffered, but it should lower ur gas mileage b/c it messes w/ the air/fuel ratio n all.

Yeah, it will lower gas milage, but if you drive your car below 3K RPM's on the streets you shouldn't see to much of an increase. &nbsp; In the high end you'll burn crazy amounts of gas.

Do you know the gas milage difference people usually get? &nbsp; Also how much HP will this add if you have catback, header, and intake?

I would say it is worth it considering all the experience Jim Wolf and Clark have with tuning nissans....as well as the fact that ecu tunes cost around a grand starting....

Well, it is worth it if you arent driving the car inconsistanly. I do both drift and daily driving using it and I sometimes have a problem with startup. As a matter of fact it happens about every other time now on startup where it almost doesnt start up unless I hit the gas while it cranks. And if you rev the engine right before you turn the car off you might as well forget getting it to start back up right afterwards unless you pull the injector plug and crank a few times.

Even with all that I think it is still worth it I just wish I didnt have to ef around with it for starting up. Once it is started the thing is a monster.

As far as gas mileage it seems to be worse but that is just because mine is tuned a little rich to stay away from knocking and detonating.

Oh and if I am the only one having these problems please someone let me know what the hell im doing wrong.

ive had horror stories with JWT ecus. i sent a DE ecu to be chipped for a GTIR motor and they had to do it 4 times to get it right AND i hade to add in resistors to bring down the injectors.. bad times. thats just one of them. but when they work.. they work great.
