sr20de vct wireing or vvt?

i need to know how to cot get my vct or vvt working on my sr. i got it in but i have to idea if its wired or not .. its in a s13 .. and its a s14 sr20de .. the cars fast but it feels like it bogs at high end aneyone anyone . . pm .me

I am pretty sure VVT helps in the midrange area of the power band, so I don't know if the VVT is your problem.

If you have a loud tap at idle then your solenoid could be bad.

do you notice any difference in engine sound ~4k?
that should help with noticing if it kicks in or not.

Also this might not be your problem, but i got a walbro for my fuel pump from my sohc fuel pump to fix the bogging @ high rpms.
