The guy at american tire said that probably because he was comparing it to stock sizes. The guys at www.tires.com told me it wouldn't fit either, but I spoke to people at www.wheeloptions.com and they told me they've fit plenty of 235/45 tires on 240s. I ordered the tires and balanced/mounted them and they fit.

Hey I'm looking for a good hood, no major scratches, no fading, and no abuse with bad detailing. For example, I bought this hood for 100 bucks and it's got bad swirl marks all over it. I was willing to accept it but now I'm getting tired of it. Might be interested. Can you send a better pic of the hood? I'm in so cal too.
