Anyone know for SURE? I'm selling the deck below and I had it in my hatch and a guy wanted to know if it would fit in his kouki.

regardless of whether or not the brackets are different, you can still make it fit by swapping the stock kouki brackets onto the radio... its just 4 screws, lol...

But would the bottom compartment fit too?

The brackets are nowhere near the same. However as said, both radios, as nearly any Nissan radio from 1988 until the early 2000s will fit any bracket set from any other Nissan model. If the buyer needs the brackets, you can't help him. If he just wants to put your radio into his car, it's a matter of four screws unless his brackets are missing. The DIN pocket is the same for every Nissan model.
Dude, you know this. Don't make us fire you.

It's hard to say. If you want a straight plug-and-play I would say no because the brackets and perhaps some of the wiring as well. I can't tell what harness you have back there.
But, if he's well-versed with aftermarket radio installation, then he should be able to reuse his brackets and fix any minor discrepancies on the wiring harness.
Just keep your brackets and sell him the headunit with harness and DIN pocket. He can reuse his brackets and if necessary, redo the harness himself.
Sell your brackets on ebay, or keep it for your car.
