SoCal smogathon (question)

so, my friend thinks if we made my sr look like it has an egr, and if i got a new cat, i could pass smog no problem. but i guess im just not seeing it. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

You didn't search this topic did you? You won't pass the visual. Hell you can probably pass the sniffer without the EGR on there.

hmmm. i won't even flame you. just be aware that there is no LEGAL way to make an sr ok in cali. (yes i'm aware of all the loopholes, but they aren't technically legal). now if you find a smog shop that doesn't do a thorough visual inspection, you might get past a sniffer if you have things like a recirculated bov and a functional cat.

yea i know a few places that half ass it but even half assing the job it certainly won't pass :rant2:
