View Full Version : Had an idea about the car FS section

It's more work I realize but same idea as the wheel section.

It would be sooo much more effecient if the title said exactl what kinda car we're looking at. For isntance, I won't even consider buying a hatch, so clicking on a S13 thread to see if it is a coupe or not isn't as effeicent. Same cocnept as PCD.

So we could make the car section title like this.

Year/S13 or S14 (yes people should know the difference but some don't)/Coupe or hatch or vert/miles/Price (optional). And then anything else in the title is optional.

Example:

1993/S13/Coupe/151k/$2000/SR/Stance/Works

1998/S14/110k/Stock

Could you imagine how clean that section would look? NICE!

This would make looking for cars in our section incredible effeicient. Again, it's the same concept as the wheels section.

The only problem w/enforcing that, would be the cars/bikes that aren't s-chassis, that are all over the car section. To be honest w/you, I think the intent is good, but would leave too much open to question, unless we started a sub-forum for non 240's, but I don't want this place to be overrun w/too many sub-forums. The simplicity of the sites layout is what is so attractive.

I agree, browsing the cars fs board is a cluster right now.

Yea, I see what you are saying. We could make it a rule on just S Chassis's. That is the majority of cars FS on here. God this would be sweet.

I strongly agree, it's a great idea. I hate spending an hour searching the classifieds to find there is nothing I am interested in.
