I only see one horn on my car, just got it back from the shop though and they left some things off.
There is no diagram in the FSM but it mentions only one, online through parts lists it shows two.
Can anyone check out their 1997 or 1998 and let me know?
Thanks

The FSM shows a single horn harness at the front bumper.
There is also a horn for the antitheft alarm at the brake master cylinder area.

I have never seen a 240 with only one horn. Does it sound different? If one horn was missing it would, unless it was missing before that is. Look for an un-used one pin pigtail around the headlight support brackets.

That's the thing there is no pigtail.
I am not sure if it was like that or they hid something.

My '96 and my friends '97 only have one horn, another friends '95 has 2, and we had an s14 clip (JDM '94 model year) with 2. So i'm thinking in the US '95s are the only ones that got 2 horns. I just replaced my weak-ass stocker with a set of hella supertones.

Stock horns suck, I have been thinking about doing that for a while.

How often do you guys use your horn to warrant needed an upgrade? Mine gets used for inspections and emergencies

Close. The only S14s with 2 horns had the antitheft system, so ALL 95 SEs and a few 96 SEs, as well as a few 95 base models. The one by the clutch master cylinder is used solely for the alarm, the one by the hood latch is the main horn. This is done so that if someone tries to clip the horn lead in front of the car to silence the alarm, they will fail. Think about it, how good is an alarm if it's silent?
S13s have 2 horns, one on each headlight bracket.

Now? will be all the time now that I have some loud ones. I'm tired of about getting hit by people who can't hang up the phone, and the stocker would barely make them look (which would be twice just last week). I'll sit behind them at stop lights letting them rip when someone about takes me out or decides they want to waste the green light because they're to busy texting. Now they get all skittish and get the hell out of the way.

my old 97 had two horns. Mine was a base model with the power and convenience package, which was basically an SE model with 4 lug, no wing, no rear sway bar.
