I'm hoping so. I have never been to a SLB yet. I am kind of partial to Redline because they have it together so much better from what i am told. But i am hoping to be proved wrong.

Here are some spectator pre-lim results.....

Excerpt:
Limited (mod) awd was won by Evasive with a 1:50 flat! I think MFQ 2nd with 1:53xx and Speedelemet 3rd. I believe that all 3 were under the old track record for this class.

Street awd was won by Nils with a 1:56.6 (Evo) , 2nd was Gates, 3rd was Martin, 4th me..... All of us within about half a second total and all 4 of us well under the previous superlap street record.

Nils went about 2 seconds faster than he ever has at BW on street tires so he has really stepped it up for this win, Gates has improved steadily all season and his teaming up with AMS is really paying off. Martin (owner of AMS) built himself the most current state of the art Evo X and drove great. It is refreshing to see a big team owner drive his own car and do so well!

This was my first Super Lap event. My first impressions were that this could have been a regular track day judging from the lack of any updates from the PA system. The ONLY announcement that i heard was "The gift store is open for another 45 minutes" :naw: , and "The tire shop will be closing".
With Redline time attacks, there is alot of excitement and just did not see that here. It was lackluster at best. And this was the season closer!
On the flip side, i enjoyed getting with friends and associates that i see when i do the Redline events. I hope that SLB can put more excitement into next seasons events. I am trying to edit some video i took from the event right now.

I wonder if they'll ever do a full event like this and long beach out east.

Yea i guess you are right. They do not think in terms of "seasons" it seems. With Redline series, all of next years rules have allready been hammered out. And those of us drivers and teams that actively participate in the series are involved in the input of the new rules and changes. It actually works quite well that we have input, as it evolves the series and pretty much everyone is happy.

The Unlimited FR for N1 Concept's S2k finished 6th (13th overall) in its class (Unlimited FR).

We finished 2nd (10th overall) in our class (Limited AWD).
