Where did you guys get your nismo studs (60mm), and how much did you pay? I take it benefits of nismo studs over OE Equivelant? are mainly that they're lighter/stronger and extended for the use of spacers... anything else? What's a "fair" price to pay for these? Or 60mm studs in general?

You can order directly from Nismo . . . here is the number 310 538 2610. Nismo part # 12540646621 I ordered mine about a month ago. Perfect fit.

yeah you can get them from courtesyparts.com That is where I got mine 60mm for 8 bucks a piece. Don't have them on yet. I have ordered from nismo directly and also courtesy and courtesy will have cheaper prices on a lot of nismo stuff. I recommned them highly.

Thanks for all the helpful replies! I can't believe I forgot to check out courtesy Nissan. I'll grab some studs with my next batch of oil filters!

Aaron, I will be getting bolt-on spacers as soon as I can, but I want to make sure the studs in the hub are sound and strong before I bolt anything to them (incl. spacers)! I'm paranoid. :D

Tubed4ever, any idea how much nismo charge for these directly? I imagine more than courtesy, but I guess I should just call them up to find out. Thanks for the phone number and part number!

I have the invoice right here: $8 per stud . . . total for me came to about $75 with ovenite shipping from CA to VA.

O and I'm sorry but I gave the wrong Part # before. The one on the invoice is 40222-RS025 . . . When I called the first time I gave them the # listed on Courtesy's website but apparently the numbering system isn't uniform quite yet for Nismo parts. The people at Nismo were very helpful.

Cool! thanks. Courtesynissan also has them available for $8 per stud... and since I need other OEM stuff as well, I just ordered from them.
What kind of wheels/brakes are you running, tubed4evr? It sounds like you have either only 8 or 9 studs on your car... if the total was $75. 2 studs per wheel? :) kidding. Why did you only get two wheels worth of studs? S14?

Now I have a new question... how do you go about taking out old studs and putting new ones in? Is it as simple as taking off the wheel and hammering out the old ones, pushing new ones through and 'pulling' them the rest of the way through by a mixture of hammering and threading and tightening a bolt on each stud?

I got 8 studs to do the front wheels . . . I got the 20mm H&R spacer kit so that I will be able to clear brakes and coilovers this summer. The studs from H&R are s.h.i.t. and did not fit properly(there is a thread about it). I ended up having to get the Nismo's overnited and the fit like a glove. Long story short I had to have my stock studs replaced anyway because someone damaged the threads by using the wrong pitch lugnuts (f.u.c.k.i.ng sears) so I decided this would be a perfect time to get longer studs and spacers. For the rear I will be going with a 25mm adapter style.

The studs are hammered out (or if you can find a shop with a hydraulic press thats better . . .I couldn't) and you just pop the new ones in the hole and pull them in with either an open ended lugnut or a lugnut and stacked washers. Don't try to beat the stud in. This can all be done without removing the hub. Good luck.
