Hey guys, a screw from the throttle body flap vibrated loose and reeked havoc on my s13 sr, so I'm considering just getting another long block, and switching my manifolds, etc over.

Now i know it could sound like a bit of a noobish question, but i havent really looked around on who's selling reliable engines in the past few years (i got mine about 4 years ago)

heavy throttle is out, I don't see that enjuku offers them anymore, or phase2, etc... who the hell is still out there? Jazzpro I've heard a few shakey stories, but you hear them about any company...

any places i should be checking out? Thanks in advance :)

best bet is to buy a swap and part it out. long blocks are usually long blocks for a reason. you can get good ones but they come at a premium.

well, with the way the economy is going right now, im not counting on people buying stock sr manifolds and other little crap.

a good longblock is hard to come by. try NeoTech Imports in Cali.

I had one here in MD but recently sold it.

good luck.

there is a guy on here.. tnd240 i think or something like that. he is in montreal and has a NY headquarters in saugerties.. told me he could do a fully documented longblock for around 1200. full blacktop swaps from places around the east coast are 16-1800... sell turbo, injectors, ecu, tranny, and you are ahead IMO
