umm $300-600 + couple beers = very good learning experience... if you are mechanical inclined and know how to use some basic tools

yea.... gijoe69 is sorta right... 300 if your lucky but most likely 600ish for raw parts, buy a couple cases of IPA STONE, and have a friend or two with you, go at it... you'll be done before you know it.. *alcohol* Lol there are like litterally a good 10 separate in depth tutorials on how to do this. Im still awaiting my 5spd swap, just needa go do a junk yard bomber or find a good tranny.. i want mine legit and the 96' obdII is a hoe to deal with. couple good slaps and that damn engine light will go away. ***Anyone selling a 96 s14 obdII 5sp trans? lol

thats sucks thats its a 96 man, here in illinois its 95 or older and you dont have emissions, which is why i waited for a "ok" 95 240 to pop up on craigs list and now im satisfied but its 100% stock :( only thing that i did to it so far is advance the timing for a little more bottom end power
