Soooo,
Its in a large tent.
It took 3 weeks to construct.
has 35 cameras, all motion control with the cameras in the studio.
What a fucking joke and waste of money!!
If they just use the motion control technology and a green/blue screen they could get the exact same thing.
What a bunch of fucking morons.
Shes not actually projected there, so its not a fucking Hologram either.
Its just a composit on our tv's
Dumb.

Could have done the same thing with 2 cameras and Chroma key. They only cut 2 angles on her. No pans or anything that would have been worthy.
CNN's holographic freakout begins, seems totally bizarre and unnecessary - Engadget (http://www.engadget.com/2008/11/04/cnns-holographic-freakout-begins-seems-totally-bizarre-and-unn/)

Totally.
I think I saw one camera move. It was a really slow crane shot over the back of her whole body.
So they basically needed one motion controlled camera.
Then a regular camera for the front shot and one for the side.
They basically could have saved 32 cameras and about 2 weeks,6 days, 12 hours of time.
lol

I thought it was trippy and unneccessary. I do like the touch screen content they have.
As for the pic of the two guys kissing....WTF?!?! I really did not want to see that. :|
