so i just installed a top mount manifold does anybody kno what i should torq it at or should i even torq it at all to complete the install?

You should torque it to some extent, or you'll have leaks. Look at the FSM for your motor, it should tell you how many ft/lbs to put on the exhaust manifold nuts.
