California crew: Tell me about Modesto, CA

Flying down for an interview in a couple weeks to Modesto and I'm wondering what it is like. I'm from WA state and I don't have to deal with emissions. Is this something I'll have to deal with? Obviously it isn't a huge drive from Sacramento or San Francisco. Thanks

anywhere in California you deal with emissions.

not much goin on in the valley, and Modesto is known for high auto theft tho, and they are familiar with the S-chassis

but if the job pays good take it!

So obviously since my car is an SR powered car it won't pass emissions. Would people recommend leaving it registered here in Washington then? How would that go if I got pulled over? Thanks much!

Central Cali is boring....I know Fresno people cruise around Blackstone and alot of Hispanic, Mien, Lao, & Cambodian live out there

Oh wow Modesto. There is NOTHING in modesto HAHA. i'm from stockton, which is way better, and STOCKTON SUCKS! Don't do it!

^ lol. i use to live in stockton... my parents live there... imo stockton is worse than modesto
