oh man, thankgiving/black friday is a logistics nightmare for me.

i live in fremont, ca, and my in-laws live in redding, ca, 236 miles north

bob's donuts day after thanksgiving track day at buttonwillow is 240 miles south of fremont, or 419 miles south of redding.

so every year i have to figure out how to get to buttonwillow from redding without bringing my wife with me (cuz she's bored to death by track days)
she's prefer to spend friday or even the whole weekend in redding.

options are:
1) bring two cars to redding
b) both of us go back home after dinner and i immediately leave for buttonwillow
iii) someone comes and picks me up and gives me a ride




but THIS year

oh man

for some reason they're having thanksgiving on saturday
