hey guys, i'm in need of your advice. so the other day i was involved in a minor accident (wet floors + bad tires + forgetting to shift at high rpm = accident, in case you were wondering). the problem is, i can't quite really see what's wrong with my car (if anything) except for needing new rims/tires) any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks. here's the pics...

i'm not sure i'm fallowing ur equation you wrote. What exactly did happen? hit a curb, a big ass pot hole. Some hit ur car from under u?? looks like your rear suspension shifted to the other side. What does the other side look? complete opasite(sp)? if so then i think u tweaked the frame or sub frame to one side. If i could see a straight view from the back under the car all the way down to the front then i could tell if something is bad(frame wise).
btw didnt u mean to say shift at low rpm? why would u be shifting at high rpm in wet conditions and bad tires??

Looks to me like the rear drivers upper control arm is bent at the very least. You will want to take it to a local shop and have them get it on a hoist and see what else is bent under there. Obviously, you wont be able to drive it hardly as it is so, you may want to trailer it there or get a tow truck to haul it there.

how exactly did you hit the curb? and what made contact with the curb first

from the looks of that rear driverside wheel, I'm guessing that's what you hit

looks to me like the curb bent some of your arms ( toe in and positive camber )

If I had to guess the rucas and toe arms are bent, you can find them on Zilvia for fairly cheap as people upgrade.

as for the leaks:
clean the diff off with a powersprayer and see how long it takes for it to get dirty like that again. if it conitnues to leak you could open it up change the fluid, replace the paper gasket or use rtv sealant to seal it.

as for the front leak: findout what fluid is leaking, try to find fresh fluid and see what color it is.. could possibly be multiple leaks too

^^^ that and replace your tension rods, the left 1 is no good. it will wear/damage the rest of the front suspension components over time in constant braking.

i remember seeing that wire on my old s14, mine was just hanging off like that all frayed up. i think it's a ground wire if iirc.

I would still want to put all stock stuff in there to be sure that you have everything properly fixed and do not have something else damaged. Getting the problem fixed right should be your consern, not looking for upgraded parts.

Putting the adjustable stuff in there could just be hiding a bigger problem. I guess I would rather spend the little extra $$$ to know i got shit fixed right then spending alot of money later when something else happens.

yea man replace with oem not aftermarket, if you do you might mask damage that can haunt you later on .

thanks guys, i just realized my steering wheel is also outta whack...the steering wheel isn't straight but my front tires are now that i look at it. maybe the shock damaged the steering column as well? sorry for the noob questions, i'm not a mechanic at all and i'm just learning about the car now and trying to get it fixed up asap by myself if possible and then bring it to a shop as a last resort...thanks... if i could posi rep all of you i would.
