A few weeks ago while driving my friend to the airport I noticed a little more play in clutch pedal than normal. I didn't think much about it until my clutch became pretty much dead. The 'fork', the part that connects the clutch to the master cylinder broke at the corners. Luckily I had duct tape and a couple of popsicle sticks that I stole from the doctors office. I jerry rigged it just enough to make the 1-1/2 hour drive home. I was lucky that 90% of the drive was on the freeway. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
I fixed it by welding the corners back together and welding small plates to the top and bottom by the corners to reinforce and kind of 'box' the end of it. Not a problem since. Any one else have had this prob.
