Well I just sucessfully seafoamed the 240 yesterday (made a video too), and car seems to run a lot better. But I was told it causes your compression to drop (due to the type of oil is used in Seafoam). Anyone heard of this?

some people say when they used seafoam in the crank case it either;
removed build up around the rings, therefore losing compression or;
disloged the build up only to clog the oil passages.

i personally just use seafoam to clean my intake, and just change my oil often to keep my crank case clean.

also, mixing seafoam with your oil and running it for a while is bad, since it causes it to thin your oil the same way gas does.

Ahh I see.. I only ran mine for about 30 minutes top. But it sure did worked well in the RB.

hmm i did the same thing...but i still had the 1/3 left in the gas tank...will that matter since it goes in the combustion chamber anyway?

it will find its way past the rings........because seafoam turns into a gummy like substance when heated. Its bad news, F the hype.

Change it again, I can assure you there is still contaminated seafoam oil in your engine that will continue to thin it out.
