has anyone have this problem? my sr20det bogs after shifting at high boost. i dont seem to have any boost leak. my bov is a synapse synchronic bov, holds boost very well with no turbo surg and boost stays constant at 18 psi. it just bogs for few seconds after each shifts.

Is it recirculated? If not.. recirculate it.

What kind of boost controller?

If you've got one that's holding pressure inside the wastegate diaphram, then the boost will not build quickly after a shift...and it feels like it's bogging.

that should not make a difference.

my car has NO bogging problems with an atmospheric BOV, in fact i dont know of anyone that has a problem with it...

i agree with longGrain, i've never goten a problem like that with a bov that was vented to atmosphere

what does your wideband say? You could be to rich or to lean.
