I was just wondering if anyone has pictures of the megan racing seats installed in their S chassis? Also, do you like them or would you recommend different seats? Thanks for your input!

I don't want a picture as much as I just want some input on whether someone liked the fit or not. I'm just looking to hear what people have to say about them. I can use my imagination to picture them in the car. Almost anything looks better the stock S13 seats!!

I pretty much will always suggest to NOT get those.
However, I feel nice and will say that I have no personal experience with them, so all I am judging my opinion on is "hate"

megan racing?
they're still in business? wow, i guess cheap shit sells good even with this fucked up economy.
i installed a megan racing baby seat in the back of my car, worked pretty good until the mount broke and it ejected my daughter through the front windshield.
poor megan..........

I have no experience with them either, but I am going to ask you this. Why would you want to cheap out on something that so important as a seat? Its not just something that is a comfort item, its a safety item also.

you must have gotten the wrong rails. i have buddy club rails and my seat is sitting on the floor.
no seriously i dont even have it in the lowest position and its touching the carpet, i would have to remove the carpet to put it any lower.
<3 my buddy club rails.

find a set of momo t2000 seats they are comfortable and you can usually find them pretty cheap since they are discontinued, oh and they are nhra and ndra approved. ive got an extra pair i might be willing to sell, but they need to be re apholstered.

I was simply asking if anyone had dealt with them. I was skeptical because they are cheap. I thought I'd get some input before I blew money on them. Thanks for all the input I guess.. :hs:

I wasn't trying to bash you or anything man. I was just asking you to think about. Sure someone may say that it is comfortable and look cool in your car, but your seat should be more than those two things. It's a critical part of your safety in your car. My suggestion to you is to save up and find a descent seat (could be new or used) that is actually certified for some sort of racing or sanctioning body (FiA, Nhra, Ndra, etc) then you know its actually been reviewed or tested and is safe.

honestly for that price of megan racing seats, you can find a nice entry level sparco or recaro. or maybe a used mid level...
i never had any experience with megan seats, as far as track use but i sat in one and that shits pretty comfortable. and im 6'1 medium built..
would i buy them? no; i simply just cant justify buying something that has to do with safety and my life for that matter. especially from megan.. my 2cents

I had them in my S14, definitely more comfortable than stock seats, but you get what you pay for.

Its cool. I didn't think you were bashing me. I honestly wasn't sure about the seats to begin with, but now I definitely don't want them after what I hear!! haha my buddy can hook me up with a nice set of Corbeaus for pretty cheap. Anyone have issues with Corbeaus in their S chassis?
