the car itself is a 1989 s13 with 147K miles
originally automatic converted to manual at about 135K miles
Engines all stock besides a cone filter. Clean title of course and no rust. I originally bought the car from Dave(aka driftfreaq) in stock form.


wat do you guys think is a fair price to sell my car for?

part it out. It makes no sense posting individual prices of your part because in the end if you sell it complete all that money you listed wont add up to how much the car is going to sell for. Most likely you get about half of what you put into it. I'd say keep it but if you want to get rid of it part it out. +its a single cam

to be honest with you people are not going to give you anything close to what you want. some have the mentality that they can build cars cheaper and better. so your best bet parting it out and selling it stock, if you had an SR then that would be a big selling point and you can probably get around $5k

Well, it's an automatic conversion. And I am assuming it is a SOHC?

Many people don't care much for SOHCs, IMO. The car has a lot of accessories but many people want STOCK cars and add those mods for themselves.

The draw off is the black front bumper. It would add more value if the car is in 1 color.

I say $3,500ish give or take. That is what a 240sx owner would and should pay.

If you think about it.

$800 = Chassis
$2300= red top
$1500 = paint job.

$ 4,600 For a painted clean Chuki with a Turbo engine.

Being a 240sx owner, I would do the above as an alternative to buying a SOHC 240sx. You have a lot invested, but I say part out as much as you can, then sell the car for $2,200. Just my opinion.

It's easier to sell parts than a combination of parts on a car.

And I actually prefer the SOHC over the DOHC. something about higher compression? And I also hear alot of guys say the SOHC can take the DOHC in a drag style race? IDK, but my rebuilt SOHC kicks every DOHC's butt I have come across. :wiggle:

who gets to care what scene im in but me. its more of a change of scenery cuz i'd like a more luxurious ride than a bumpy one. also i get tired of being seen in a "kids" car. everywhere i go i get dawg'd at by hondas and other tuner cars. most of the time they are kids. also its nice to feel safe and non anxious about where a cop might hide, or when they might pull me over for ridiculous reasons. i've feel that i've grown out of the tuner scene and wanna do something else with my time
