If you are interested in joining, email me at:
[email protected]

There will be a few requirements on the cars; which I will figure out later, a VERY small monthly due to cover the cost of the webpage I am going to be setting up and to cover club costs (events and all that good stuff). There will be a monthly meet, and a few more things.

For a startup package, you will recieve a tee-shirt, and 2 small stickers to put on the back side window of your car to display the club you are in.

I have not come up with the name yet, as I wanted to give all the interested members a chance to decide on it.

All other questions, please email me.

Thank you for reading and I hope to see you join the Club!

BTW, I'm not sure how often I will be back to check on this, so feel free to give it a free bump for me.

if you are serious about getting something started than i would prefer if you talked to me first about it. the reason behind this is that i have held 3 meets in the local area and all of them have been very sucessful(sp?). I plan on having a few meets once the weather gets warmer. I hope that you contact me with your plans and ideas, you can find my email info in my profile.

*It depends on how much free $hit we can get. Then I'm all about it. I also have a very stock looking car so I don't think I would fit in a car club

if you are very serious about getting this thing set-up that more power to you....but you have to realize this....it is going to take a whole lot more work than you think.....i tried to get something started(still trying) but i felt that the participation from the other area members was not adequate(nothing but love for yall).....i will still be sponsoring the spring BBQ and a few other meets but my main focus will be the BBQ.......so if you can bring your people over to teh BBq that would be great.......just email or IM on your future plans

Yea whatever happened with that car group thing? Last time I remember you and everyone else in the area were still trying to figure out a name?

This group thing does sound interesting since my roommate will be a part of it... but I'm really not sure if I'd be in. I could use every cent that I get and have on something else... like paying off my credit card bill and paying off college stuff. If the fee is right I guess I'm in.

what im thinking is about 10 bucks MAX per month; this fee will go towards contests, events, and fees for the webpage that will be set up.

you obviously gotta buy a club sticker but that shouldnt be more than 10 and its only a one time thing

im thinking about doing shirts too for anyone that wants them

its going to be a small sticker for both of the back side windows that gives the name of the club or the web address...havent decided yet...

we were thinking about doing a dyno deal at some point but im not sure what ever came of it...that is one thing i want to get goin with this club is a dyno day

hmm a dyno day... sounds like a good idea pretty soon. I haven't been to one in a while for that matter. we could probably check with Rosen autosports or somewhere closer to NOVA about another dyno day.

10 dollars doesn't sound bad... its the sticker that does. I'm not to quite fond of sticking things on my windows and stuff but maybe if you had those static ones that might change my mind. What is the design going to be?

well considering i havent picked out a name yet im not sure what kind of design im going to have....

this sticker is NOT (read again NOT) going to be big...im thinking 1x4 or something just to say the name of the club or the webpage...

Your going in the same path cIvIcKILLA240style went when he tried to get some people to form a club.......

but I think he has a better chance than you. :D

Yeah I'm down. I'm in the NOVA area and I know a few heads that might be down. ESPECIALLY THAT ONE BASSTERD THAT GOT THE WANGAN WING BEFORE ME! Ohhh and if you're on here J-Dog, the long awaited fixing of the 240 will be complete now that I have my self a job at Peter Ferralls. :D I also came to notice that my T/C rod was SNAPPED! It will all be fixed this weekend when my package from PDM gets in.

I know it's your 2 cents but you should check out what happened in the events and meet ups section w/ the VA,MD,DC,NC call to arms thread... no one could really agree on a team name... i think it went on for like 5 pages or of name suggestions. It just doesn't work. I think you should just name it something that everyone can agree on. Just no Super hyper choki dori mega driftu... or something in that line... again i am in.

Nah...j/m...seriously its because he already had some events in the past and is working on another one this spring.

Potatoskins02 is right about the club name and the thread. I really thought you checked it out before making this post. You really have to make up the name yourself....I put in my .02 cents and it wasn't happening. Just make sure that the name dose not include the word "drift".
