so ive boughten this at taka motorsports and was wondering if i still need a oil restriction inlet fitting for my oil in line thru my t25? or can i just use the line and it will be fine with out me worrying that to much oil will be put in the turbo and it will blow my oil seals? the reason im doing this is i think my oil lines MIGHT be kinked and i wanna upgrade my turbo lines since the turbos i put on seem to smoke on me and oil came out of my compressor housing and exhaust due to the oil line or bad oil seals. the car is a silvia with a ca18det motor. im using an sr20 t25 non bb turbo

I'm not sure what you're looking at, but if the new line has a built in restrictor you don't need anything else.

true, mine came with a restrictor already installed.

so is this restrictor thing on the turbo or on the line? i wanna know where its located so i can cheak and not worrying about to much oil going thru the turbo and blowing out the seals

If your running non-ball bearing turbo, you dont need the restrictor to begin with.

I'm pretty sure you need a restrictor fitting, although if you have a banjo fitting on it (I.E. Circuit Sports) than you don't need a restrictor since the banjo fitting acts as the restrictor

non-ball bearing stock garrett turbos should not need a restrictor if you are using the same fitting that taps into the block on the pressure line.
