While removing the #3 injector, 2 of the 4 plastic injector tip (dingy mustard color) broke and fell into the head.
worst and best case scenario please???
will those plastic pieces melt and be a non issue? can i vacuum it out?
thanks.

It will melt, or at least be sent into the exhaust worst case and then expelled. Plastic isn't going to damage a piston, relax.

One time I was cleaning out an intake manifold with carb cleaner and the plastic straw shot off into the manifold. I thought about fishing it out but then I just said screw it and drove the car. Took the manifold off awhile later and the straw was gone lol never had any issues either. Engines will eat stuff and it doesnt always hurt them.

if anything youll probably find a little bit of melted plastic on your piston once you take the head off, thats just my guess
Temps in the cylinder get hot enough to probably vaporize the plastic's hydrocarbon chains, so I doubt it'll still be hanging out in there.

Now hold on a sec guys.. he said the pintle cap fell into the HEAD. Not the hole for the injector in the intake manifold.
That said, where in the HEAD did it go? If you mean you had the valvecover off and they fell into an oil gallery, there is a chance they could plug a passage and cause the oil to stay up in the head and not drain back to the oil pan properly. Be careful.
I think he's meaning the head as in the intake port just past the injector boss. At least that's how I read it.

Yes, couldn't have said it better.
Update: fired up the car and no weird noises, the sputtering is still there so it was not the injector. :-/ i hate troubleshooting.

If it's sputtering, chances are it's an air problem...

yeah my current motor that is making around 500 fly hp, has eaten about 3 bolts...so plastic that small will not be of concern
